We spent the afternoon making a lovely artistic spring scene. Some true talent showing here.
Now how amazing is that!??
We had another wonderful Halloween. Four more plays this year too. Each class has been very busy rehearsing lines as well as making props for their respective performances. All were very exciting and very well executed (pun intended.....it's Halloween!!!)
Our elementary class performed Windy Day, a poem about .... you guessed it, a windy day at Saturday School.
Our intermediate class wowed the audience with the Mysterious Box. It is about a box which turns up in a second grade classroom....but it's not what you may think.
Our advanced class took on a play from Uganda about how donkeys became zebras....as everyone knows they do..... It was epic.
And last but not least, the Pro Advanced experts delved into Shakespeare once more to give us a taste of when Ancient Egypt came to heads with Ancient Rome in an excerpt from the story of Antony and Cleopatra. They were confident as they had put in a lot of practice at home too.
We also couldn't resist our usual Bobbing Donut game.
We would like to thank all the parents who gave so many treats to us! I think our students are treated up for a long long time.
We hope you had as wonderful a Halloween as we did!
Here are the links to the plays we did.
We were privilaged once again to have some fantastic food on the table for our Christmas lunch this year.
Arne did it again. The turkey, all the way from America was a whopping 8kg before hitting the oven! We all had plenty to stuff ourselves with. (I just had to fight the girls for the gravy!) Tasty and memorable. Thanks Arne.
