ANZAC Biscuits 2016

ANZAC biscuits have a unique history which influenced the way they are made. So, after a short history lesson, the kids got to work making these delicious snacks from scratch. There is more jargon in cooking than you might imagine! We also learned, the hard way, that too much baking powder makes them more like puffs than traditional ANZAC biscuits! They all tasted great though!

They were just as delicious to eat as they are aesthetic to the eye. 

There was one trouble maker getting busted for eating the dough raw......for legal reasons she cannot be named....
